ABOUT ecopop

ecopop is a term that was coined in 2006 by brand innovator Chad Rea to define constructive brands that appeal to a mass audience not by acting green, but by being green and acting pop. Method, Tom's Shoes, and American Apparel are just a few examples.

Established in 2008, ecopop™ is a social innovations collective that happily lives at the intersection of ecology and pop culture. We create, market, and co-own ventures that merge capitalism with our global responsibility.

Our mission is to use our creative problem solving talents, proven intuition, and integrated marketing and new media prowess to bring conscious consumerism out of the exclusive fringe and into the accessible mainstream. And to do this in a way that entertains and embraces people through pop culture.
