It's Not Out Of Date. It's Rare.

ecopop has many theories. One is the fact that everything is a limited edition.

Despite what most people might think, we do not have an abundant amount of resources. Fortunately, fashion is one business where products have the ability to come back into style long after they have gone out of style.

Companies that create consumer goods can choose to hold onto them and reposition them at a later date, or new companies can be created to market them to an audience that still sees their value, which ultimately increases with scarcity.

In short, why use up our resources to recreate old-looking products when they probably already exist as perfectly good, unused products destined for the landfill?

Rare Eyewear (and watches) is one of those companies who have chosen to turn one company's trash into another person's fashion accessory by simply positioning them as what they really are: rare. Cha-ching!

What other products hiding out there can you see making a comeback as well as a serious profit?
